Data collected

This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics scripts. No personal data is collected or processed, apart from the technical server logs generated when the site is accessed (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent), which are stored solely to keep the site running and are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Settings in your browser

If you press the “Dark/Light” or “Pause motion” switches, your browser remembers that choice locally (localStorage). This is not a cookie, is not sent to us and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings. Nothing is stored unless you press a switch (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG).

Rabbit Hole page: reading browser details

On the Rabbit Hole page, technical details are read from the browser only after an explicit click: the files loaded for this page and where they came from, cookies and trackers, total size, browser, operating system, language, time zone, screen, processor cores, graphics card, colour scheme and the page you came from (referrer). These details are processed and displayed solely in the browser; they are neither transmitted to the server nor stored, not even in the browser. The legal basis is Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German TDDDG, as the reading is strictly necessary for the service you expressly requested by clicking. Without the click, nothing is read.

External fonts

All fonts are served from this server and are not loaded from third-party providers such as Google Fonts.

When you follow external links (for example to GitHub), the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

3D models on the “Blüten im Messbild” page (Sketchfab)

The preview page “Blüten im Messbild” lets you view 3D models hosted on Sketchfab (Sketchfab Inc., an Epic Games company, USA). At first the page only shows a preview image served from this server. Only when you click “3D laden” does your browser load the Sketchfab viewer. Your IP address, browser details and the page you are on are then sent to Sketchfab, and Sketchfab may set cookies. We load the viewer with “Do Not Track” enabled. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Without a click, nothing is sent to Sketchfab. “Blüten im Messbild” questionnaire

The questionnaire at /vorschau/messbild/frage/ is voluntary. When you submit it, your answers are sent to the Nextcloud of Souverain Systems UG (Nextcloud Forms, servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany) and stored there. The survey ends on 31 January 2027. Without details in the contact field, your answers are anonymous. If you arrive via a personal invitation link, we also store that link's identifier so we know which invitation the answer came from. If you arrive via a shared or general link, your email address is required so we can tell the answers apart. We use it only for that. If you also tick the box for results and news, we write to you about them, the first time asking you to confirm. Without confirmation you receive nothing further. You can unsubscribe at any time by email. If you give your name, company or email, we use them only to get back to you about your answers. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by emailing andre@souverain-systems.de; we then delete your answer. We only evaluate the answers in aggregate and do not pass them on. We delete them no later than twelve months after the survey ends.
